As a participant of the Compass trial your Personal and Health Information will be collected and held on the databases of VCS Pathology and the Compass Register. VCS Pathology and the Compass Register routinely collects your health information, primarily for reporting the results of your cervical cytology tests and to remind you when to have a cervical screening test.
All data collected and stored at VCS and the Compass Register will be managed according to strict privacy policies and practices which comply with the Commonwealth Privacy Act and the Victorian Health Records Act. All staff involved in the project sign confidentiality agreements.
